The Levante [luh-VANT] Story
From the Latin levare, to rise. We named it that because the goal was never to add another step to your routine. It was to raise the standard of modern day skincare.
HOW IT STARTED
Henry tried just about every version of “eating better” before one of them finally stuck.
Low fat. Low carb. Whatever was trending that year.
None of it lasted until he stopped following rules and started paying attention to something much simpler: real food.
His energy changed. His skin changed. And somewhere along the way, it hit him that he had spent years turning over food packages and reading every nutrition label but had never once thought to turn over the tub of lotion he used every single day.
So he did.
The ingredient list looked nothing like the simple approach he had started taking with food.
And that bothered him.
The more he looked into skincare, the more he kept finding the same thing: products marketed as clean, natural, and simple with ingredient lists that seemed to say otherwise.
Then a baby was born
No. Not his.
When Henry’s sister became a mom, she started looking at ingredients differently too.
The products she used were no longer just going on her skin. They were being used while holding, feeding, and caring for his nephew.
Like a lot of new moms, she wanted fewer things to worry about, not another ingredient list she had to research at midnight while holding a sleeping baby.
And she kept running into the same wall Henry had.
Gentle on the front. A paragraph on the back.
She wasn’t looking for a twelve-step skincare routine.
She wanted something simple. Something she could understand. Something she could feel good about reaching for every day.
That became the product Henry set out to make.
And eventually, that product became Levante.
