The Ingredients

We believe in radical simplicity and uncompromising quality. Every Levante Skin product is made with a short list of thoughtfully sourced, skin-loving ingredients and nothing else.

We know our ranchers

Our suet comes from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle on Texas ranches we buy from directly. No brokers, no commodity fat, no wondering where it came from. We render it twice ourselves, which is why it goes on like whipped butter and does not smell like dinner.

Our essential oils are sourced from organic farms and trusted producers across the globe. Steam-distilled or cold-pressed for maximum purity, each oil is selected for its skin benefits and elegant scent profile. While many brands employ cheap dilutions and synthetic fragrances – we never cut corners. No fillers, no fakes. Always the real thing.

Tallow's Natural Benefits

WHAT'S IN IT

People used tallow for thousands of years. Then the twentieth century found a way to sell them twelve steps instead, and everyone forgot. We think that was a bad trade.

The same fats your skin already makes. Oleic, stearic, and palmitic acid. Not a formula engineered to imitate your skin barrier. The actual thing, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on top like a lotion.

Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Tallow carries the fat-soluble vitamins naturally, because it came from an animal that ate grass, not from a lab that combined things.

CLA. Conjugated linoleic acid, which grass-fed tallow has and grain-fed tallow largely doesn't. It's part of why we're picky about the ranchers.

Nothing else. No preservatives, no synthetic fragrance, no fillers, no stabilizers. That's why it has a shelf life, and why we tell you to use clean fingers. We'd rather have that conversation than put something in the jar to avoid it.

What The Scented Ones Smell Like

CITRUS WOODS BODY BALM

Lavender, cedarwood, lemongrass. Bright and green up front, calm underneath. Better on skin than it sounds on paper, and the one people ask about.

ROSE PETALLOW

Bulgarian rose, bergamot, cedarwood. Soft and floral without going perfumey, with the bergamot keeping it bright and the cedarwood keeping it grounded. Bulgarian rose is one of the most expensive essential oils in the world, and it's most of the reason this jar costs what it does.

SANTALLOW

Sandalwood, bergamot, cedarwood, amyris, benzoin, cardamom. Warm, woody, and a little spiced. Sandalwood is the backbone, benzoin adds the resinous sweetness underneath, and the cardamom is what keeps it from smelling like every other men's product. This is the one that disappears from your side of the counter.

LIP BALM

Doesn't smell like much of anything. Sweet almond and pomegranate oil for slip, and a touch of stevia, so it tastes faintly sweet without being flavored.
